Terms of use

These terms explain the conditions for using YT-DLP Easy.

Permission to use

Your use of YT-DLP Easy is governed by its proprietary software licence. It permits installation and use of a lawfully obtained, unmodified copy, subject to that licence and applicable law.

App restrictions

Without written permission from Prapya Bhaskar, you may not redistribute, republish, sell, sublicense, or distribute modified copies of YT-DLP Easy itself, except where applicable law does not permit such a restriction. These terms do not restrict third-party components or rights granted under their separate licences.

Third-party software and websites

yt-dlp and FFmpeg/ffprobe are separate programs with their own licences. The app retrieves the pinned helper programs directly from their providers after setup is requested; it does not include them in the installer. See the third-party notices and upstream materials. Websites and services have their own rules and policies.

Responsible use

You are responsible for links and material you process, where files are saved, and how you use or share them. Download, convert, or use material only when you have the necessary rights or another lawful basis. Respect copyright, privacy, access controls, and applicable service terms. The app does not grant permission from a site or rights holder.

No affiliation

YT-DLP Easy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to YouTube or Google. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Availability, warranty, and liability

Websites and media formats change, so features may stop working. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided without guarantees. Nothing in these terms excludes a consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
